Gildersome is Branch No 12 for Duftons

The largest independent plumbing & heating merchants in Yorkshire have added their 12 branch securing a new lease opening at Gildersome Spur.

Kingfisher swoops across to Gildersome

Longstanding designer, manufacturer and installer of windows, doors and conservatories, Kingfisher Windows have relocated and expanded by taking both Units R4 & T at Gildersome Spur, which provides circa 35,000 sq. ft of industrial and office accommodation. Kingfisher have committed to a 10 year lease agreement.

Josh Holmes of Carter Towler who negotiated the deal comments “Kingfisher Windows were looking to relocate to new HQ premises for several years and we are excited that they have chosen Gildersome Spur as their long term home. The buildings have been extensively refurbished and the power supply upgraded to accommodate Kingfisher to the estate.”

Panel makes the right decision

Panel UK, a leading manufacturer of partitions and office screens based in Morley have expanded by taking Unit A2 at Gildersome Spur, which comprises 10,355 sq. ft. Panel UK have committed to a new 10 year lease and this new facility will become Panel UK’s third site in the immediate vicinity.

Apollo lands at Unit A1

Following the decision to invest in an extensive refurbishment of Unit A1 comprising 8,740 sq. ft, Apollo Healthcare Technologies were secured on a new 10 year lease. Apollo are a leading manufacturer of healthcare products and were looking to relocate to more modern HQ premises.

Clade Engineering

Clade Expands at Gildersome Spur

National refrigeration engineering company, Clade Engineering, whose clients include a number of national retailers, have expanded and committed themselves at Gildersome Spur by taking Units R1 & R2, which will provide an additional 18,000 sq. ft and therefore in total will occupy circa 29,000 sq. ft for a further 10 years. Clade Engineering are headquartered in Bristol and have further depots in Newcastle and Warrington.

Paul Mack at Gent Visick who negotiated the deal comments: “Units R1 & R2 were the only units that have come available for nearly 2 years and it was therefore no surprise to us that one of the existing tenants has taken the opportunity to secure the premises before we were able to think about launching the units to the open market.”
