Yorkshire Catering Equipment move into Units R3 / R4

Yorkshire Catering Equipment, a long established specialist in supplying and installing commercial catering equipment have relocated onto Gildersome Spur Industrial Estate from Batley. Their new home being Units R1 & R2 comprise approx 18,000 sq. ft with HQ style offices.

Sharman Shaw expand into Unit A1

Designer and manufacturer of bespoke exhibition stands, Sharman Shaw has continued to grow as a business and have subsequently taken further warehouse accommodation at Gildersome Spur Industrial Estate. Sharman Shaw’s original premises provide approx 17,000 sq. ft of production, manufacturing and storage space with ancillary office accommodation. As a result of continued growth Sharman Shaw then expanded and took on an additional 10,000 sq. ft for further warehousing in 2008 and in 2012 they have grown yet again and moved into Unit A1, another 8,000 sq. ft.

MSM Foods move into Unit G3

National Polish food wholesaler MSM Foods have relocated their business from Normanton into bigger premises at Gildersome Spur Industrial Estate. MSM foods have moved into Unit G3 which provides circa 10,000 sq. ft of warehousing accommodation.

Refurbishments Completed on 4 Vacant Units

A full refurbishment of the 4 vacant properties at Gildersome Spur Industrial Estate have just been completed at a cost of over £300,000 by GL Hearn. The 4 units range in size from 8,000 sq. ft up to 21,000 sq. ft and total approximately 54,000 sq. ft.

The tenant leases for Units A1, H1/H2, M and G3 had come to an end and some of the units were deemed in a state of disrepair. GL Hearn was appointed to carry out a dilapidation evaluation and were subsequently instructed to undertake the repair and refurbishment works on site in order to prepare the units to be placed back onto the market by the start of 2012.
